At the beginning of December, the Campaign submitted a response to the Ofcom Public Service Broadcasting Review. The submission welcomes the opportunity to respond to Ofcom. In particular, itreiterates our agreement with Ofcoms recognition that there is a case for continued and increased public intervention to sustain and develop public service content across existing and developing forms of delivery. This is a position that the Campaign has argued for many years.

The CPBF has written to the Ofcom calling for changes to the terms of reference to its forthcoming second review of public service broadcasting. The deadline for comments was 30 September and the regulator has replied saying that it will give ‘further thought' to the points raised.
