Americans Speak Out Against the War! Between 29 March and 4 April, two prominent US anti-war activists will be touring Britain. Their visit is an excellent oppurtunity to promote anti-war discussion and action. They are: Michael Letwin: founder and convenor of New York City Labor Against the War, long-time trades union and anti-racist activist. He was one of the organisers of the 500,000 strong 15th February demonstration in New York City. Anthony Arnove: editor of ‘Iraq Under Siege' (Pluto Press), described by Arundhati Roy as "a brilliantly collated body of unrelenting, undeniable evidence of the horrors of sanctions and war upon the people, in particular the children, of Iraq." The world premiere of Warcrime by David Williams Warcrime exposes the gaps between CNN and real lives. Warcrime by David Williams is presented by the team that brought The Vagina Monologues to London in partnership with St Andrews Church Holborn. From the 24th of March until the 19th of April with performance times from Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm. Warcrime is the story of a real woman. In a courtroom a young waitress, killed by an off-course cluster bomb is brought face to face with the pilot who killed her. Warcrime was developed from a visit to the Serbian anti-Milosevic town of Nisch which was bombed by the Americans during the Kosovo crisis.
