'Media manipulation and Labour's Spin-doctors' - a Political Correspondent's view

BBC Political Correspondent Nick Jones is to speak at a London meeting on 22 October on what he sees as the problem of ‘machinations of media manipulation’.

Nick Jones, who retires from the BBC in October, is a political correspondent of many years’ standing. He is author of the newly updated book Control Freaks and a series of other books on Labour’s spin doctors. At the meeting, organised by the Campaign for Press and Broadcasting Freedom (CPBF), he will reveal documented examples of spin-doctoring and offer some solutions. An Evening with Nick Jones takes place on Tuesday 22 October at NUJ headquarters, 308 Gray’s Inn Road, London WC1, 6.30pm-8.30pm. Free wine.
