The government plans far reaching changes to the organisation of mass communications in Wales. These changes will impact on TV, Radio and the Press, and on broadcasting in the Welsh and English languages for Wales. A new regulator, OFCOM, is planned, with no direct representation from Wales. This could leave Wales without a strong voice in the regulation of the media in this new age. This meeting provides the first opportunity for a public discussion of these key issues.
