Book launch: Under the Wire

:CPBF members and supporters are invited to join Brendan Foley and the former Writers Guild representative on the CPBF national council, Bill Ash, at the NUJ, Headland House, 308 Gray's Inn Road, London WC1X 8DP, on 1 Aprilfrom 6:30 to 8:00 pm, for the launch of Under The Wire, the WWII adventures of Bill Ash, written by Bill and Brendan.

Bill is now 87 and it would also be a good chance to say three cheers for this remarkable man, for his contribution to the defeat of Fascism as a Spitfire pilot and escapologist, and his subsequent work in the broadcasting and teaching unions.
