Ten years after the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001 in New York and Washington, the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) are organising an international conference on ' Journalism in the Shadow of Terror Laws' in Brussels on 10 -11 September 2011.
Aim: To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, discuss the impact of anti-terror legislation on civil liberties and the work of journalists and to examine the way forward.
