Media ownership and press regulation are in the spotlight as never before. Leveson is lifting the lid on the truth behind the headlines and there is now once in a generation chance for real reform. The TUC's special conference on media regulation 'Taking on the media barons' is timely. Confirmed speakers include Frances O'Grady (TUC DGS), Harriet Harman MP, Michelle Stanistreet (NUJ), James Curran (CCMR), Granville Williams (CPBF), Natalie Fenton (CCMR) Jim Boumelha (IFJ President), Luke Crawley (BECTU AGS), Tony Burke ( Unite AGS), Dan Sabbagh (Guardian), and John Hendy QC (NUJ QC to the Leveson Inquiry).
