As chair of the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee, John Whittingdale MP is currently investigating harmful content on the Internet and in video games; Annie Mullins has been a member of the Home Office Child Protection and the Internet Task Force for the past six years; and Julian Petley is Professor of Film and Television Studies at Brunel University as well as Co-Chair of the Campaign.

With the Byron Review earlier this year, and the Government ’s proposals to consult on regulation to combat copyright infringement online, it is an appropriate time for this debate on what is always a controversial question. There will be a chance to put questions or points to the panel at the end of the debate.
