Reporting the riots: did we get it right?

Most of the British media have chosen to reinforce the Westminster consensus that the rioters are despicable criminals who deserve the full force of the law. This meeting will discuss the good, bad and ugly sides of the coverage, and the challenge for journalists posed by mass social unrest.
