Scotland and Digital Switchover : Ready for the Revolution?

events |

One day conference-

Friday 27th October 2006, The Hilton Grosvenor Hotel, Edinburgh. Key Speaker: David Cairns MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary, Scotland Office

The switchover from analogue to digital television represents the biggest single civil project ever undertaken in the UK.

Digital Switchover in Scotland has the potential to transform public services, and for the Scottish Executive to fully realise its aspiration to make Scotland fully digitally inclusive.

This timely one-day conference will examine the Digital Switchover process within a Scottish context and look ahead to the opportunities and the challenges presented by the Digital Age.

It will look at how the UK regional delivery policy is currently progressing in the Border TV region, from the perspective of consumers and other stakeholders and ask whether the link between the UK and devolved Scottish policy and delivery agendas is being addressed.

Join us for a unique opportunity to meet with other key stakeholders from a wide range of organisations.
